A very special necklace with Renaissance feel....possibly Italian- definitely quite old but difficult to date exactly. There is a lovely brass tone and coral chain culminating in a combination of four filigree discs interspersed with three hand painted discs with the head of a female beauty on each one. Each disc is almost 2cm across. Overall length end to end is 41cm. In good pre loved condition with a little wear to the backs of the discs. Each of the filigree discs has a floral shaped centrepiece of enamel and there is a little wear to the centre of one of those. Overall does not detract.
