A beautiful pair Maori Arts Ponga vase from New Zealand. Ponga is the Maori word for the giant tree fern. The vase is hand-finished to display nature’s beautiful work. They have a narrowed neck and tall body.
The intricate pattern is naturally formed and is clearly visible after the outer bark of the Ponga stem has been removed.Then the trunk of the fern is dried in the oven.
It is excellent to decorate with dry flowers , or just display as an art piece.
